Phoca download not working

To whom it may concern:
I have been using phocadownload to download some files, it worked perfect, yet suddenly on the site part, when I click on download file,
it redirects to another page with some text and ascii codes and nothing downloads
When I enable the joomla debug system or language debug, it works as usual.
What could be the problem?

It has no connection with phoca download extension, as I referred when I put my joomla system in debug system mode or debug language mode, the component works perfect , I also uploaded and used another download extension: OS download, it has the same problem as before unless I put the joomla system in debug mode.

hmm. Difficult to say. Would be easier to check, if you provide us with an URL.

Just an idea: Which module position did you define for download-menue?

Hi, I get "server not found" on the site?

Did you check if your site is OK (e.g. if it is not somehow hacked, etc.). Or there are no changes on the server?

I just checked all the links on the site, it is ok , which link did you click to receive server not found message and when?
Also what changes in host could effect download of file in site part? Because I am positive phoca download is working perfect, I uploaded OSDownload and used it, the extension gave me the same problem while downloading files.
Also I observed when I put the system in debug mode or debug language mode from global configuration of Joomla, phoca downloads my file as usual

Hi, I checked the last in this topic. Really no idea, what could be changed on the server and what can cause this behaviour. If there is some new limit, I think, this should be a question on web hosting provider.

True, phoca has worked perfect so far, ultimately, I leave cms on debug language mode and via addStyleDeclaration I shall make its display as none,this way files could be downloaded or I set up a new site, thanks anyway to take time and answered me

I'm also having this problem. I've only just noticed it but it may date back to the recent upgrade of Joomla to version 3.7.3. All my files and categories are set for "public" access but the system is now only allowing people who have logged in to download anything. My ISP is running on PHP 7.0.20. I'm still using PhocaDownload version 3.0.6. I tried installing the latest version (3.1.2) but it crashed the entire site, so I reverted to version 3.0.6. Has anyone any ideas, please?
