no categories shown in file upload dialog

For our website we use the most recent stable version of joomla together with phoca download Manager latest version. When you open the section file upload you will be able to choose a catogory in which the file is being uploaded.

This works fine for all users. This week we created a new user account. All looks like to be the same with this account data (user data/group settings). But this user only sees a blank field in the category in file upload menu.

Can anyone help us to solve this matter?

Hi, then it seems like this user does not have any access/upload rights to the category
