Could please provide instructions on how to add a video in Phocadownload? My site is Joomla 3.3 and Phocadownload 3.0.5. Simply adding the YouTube link in the YouTube options tab of creating a new file is not working for me. What am I missing?
Thanks!

Hi, what you exactly means with "is not working for me" - do you get any error there?

Re: YouTube Videos in Phocadownload
I have this same problem. I create a new File. I select a file in the "Filename" box (a required field). I enter a YouTube link in the box under YouTube options. When I browse to the file listing, Phoca Download does not display anything related to the YouTube video; it just uses the file I specified in the Filename box. How should I configure it so that a user can view the YouTube video?

Hi, usually, when the url to video is correct then it is displayed in the list:

But there is used object method, maybe some browser can have a problem with displaying it, I am no working on new version where I have changed it to iframe method. Please wait for new version to test if something will change.

Re: YouTube Videos in Phocadownload
It is strange, I am using Firefox for Mac. I followed the instructions shown here (https://vimeo.com/77382541) but it was not displaying. I used the hash (#) in the filename field. I also played with the display options in Phoca Download. I did not see anything till I restarted the browser and returned to the page. It seems that Firefox has applied an update in that process. Now I can add items no problem so that might have been it.
Yes I think the iframe method would likely work better, thanks!
