Hi, PhocaCart seems to me as the best e-commerce solution for Joomla. But there is no way to import users as customers. In Joomla I have some customers as joomla users from other e-commerce (joomshopping) but I want to have same people also in PhocaCart.
How to import (use) existing users in PhocaCart from my joomla website?
For now it seems to me as only new customers will be displayed in "cutomers" tab (/administrator/index.php?option=com_phocacart&view=phocacartusers in joomla administration)
Thanks

Re: Customers in Phoca Cart
Hi, yes, in the customer tab in Phoca Cart, only Joomla! users who are or who were somehow active in Phoca Cart are displayed. If there is no activity of the user in Phoca Cart, it has no info about such user.
Hard to say which method can by used for displaying the user in Phoca Cart, as there are displayed users who made order or who used the cart, etc.
So e.g. per phpMyAdmin copy the user's data (name, address, etc.) into the #__phocacart_users table

Re: Customers in Phoca Cart
Hi,
in Joomla you can create different types of users (super user, editors, registered,...) and usually "super users" (or other group what has access to back-end of joomla) are shop owners, and "registered" are those who are customers. So in PhocaCart, under "Customers" should be, in this case, displayed "registered" users. Doesn't matter if they used cart, or ordered something or did some activity in frontend, in shop. Even those, who skipped registration to Joomla/PhocaCart and filled personal information manually during making the order (in cart).
What users group will be visible in "PhocaCart -> Customers" should be possible set up in options.
What you think?

Re: Customers in Phoca Cart
Hi, first of all, users are managed in User management of Joomla! so there you can see everything what you need (group, etc.)
When they somehow interact with e-shop, then you can see them in cart user list - for example if user adds the address, you can see it in cart user list. Registered like super user can be customers in the shop so for now I don't understand if this information is important for the e-shop, to see in which group user belongs, you can see user management of user. Anyway cart has own groups for users/customers and such are listed in cart. Such groups are set for discounts, vouchers, other prices, etc. and it was not possible to use the Joomla! access groups for this.
So in fact for the cart it is not important which group the user is in Joomla! but which group it is in Phoca Cart (because of managing prices, vouchers, discounts, etc. for each Phoca Cart group)
