Map not loading

Post by Ch3vr0n »

Site is in development but using J3.8.1
using the PhocaMaps Component, latest version
site is VERIFIED in developer console using a DNS TXT Record
Enable SSL API load is set to NO as site is currently running http only

yet i'm still getting
"Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/docu ... -map-error
Your site URL to be authorized: http://<domain>.be/map.html"
api key is VALID and matching in developer console, HTTP referrals, *.domain.be/* is set as accept. Still won't work

Key created 19.04 CEST, 25min later, still nothin

if i add the ,17z in longitude the grey box doesn't show at all but error remains. remove it and grey box loads but not the map

Documentation is wrong too at step 4. I don't get a popup for "server key, oath...." and thats IF the documentation page loads at https://www.phoca.cz/documents/53-phoca ... ps-api-key

constant error 500

Hi, the step 4 can be different - first the behaviour is still changing in Google API second there are more ways to come to this settings.

What happens when you enable https (you can load https from http web site)?

https is not an option, since there is no certificate linked to the site

It is not about your http but about Google API https. You can load external libraries from http website through https.

same thing
"Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/docu ... -map-error
Your site URL to be authorized: http://spatwanden.be/map.html"
While i've allowed "*.<url.be>/* as allowed referrals.

*edit 1* Just for the sake of completeness i need to mention that i connect to the sites as http://<url.tld>, when i connect via http://www.<url.tld> the map DOES load

even WITHOUT any referral addresses set

*edit 2* now suddenly without www it works without referrals set too. I'll try some more things and add <url.tld>/* again as referral
now i just need to figure out how to get it to zoom to the marker and have the directions button working

Hi, yes, sometimes there is a cache, so changing some parameter could not be visible immediately
