Setting rights to usergroups

Hello,
in the category section I can set access rights, upload rights and delete rights to particular users.
I need to set specific rights not to users, but to usergroups. Is this possible?
I make a website for our sports club and so a have groups called "trainers", "referees", "normal members" ...
Each of them contains heaps of users. Obviously it's much more easyier to assign access rights to groups, not to users.

Hi, no, the rights are assigned to specific users, so this needs to be customized in the code

The other way can be setting one login for more users
