I need a menu, category and file view counter

Hello, please I have gone through the phoca download forum and I did not see the answer I was looking for. I want to know if I can have the front end category and file hit display. For example, if 200 people visited a category, and 150 people opened a file and only 50 people downloaded the file. I want the various number of views to be shown in each level, so 200 views will be shown in the category page, 150 views will be shown in the file page, while 50 downloads will be shown in the number of downloads. I am willing to pay for a plugin or module to be customised so I can get what I want.

The phoca download version is version 3.1.4.
Also, please i want to know, is there anyway I could chose to display the subcategories along side the category description? I don't fancy the way the subcategories disappear when I give a description of the main category.

Hi,

1)subcategories + description - for now this needs to be customized in the code of the output - to remove the condition and display both e.g. description above and subcategories below.

2) In Phoca Download component the hits (count of view) is changed to downloads (count of downloads), so unfortunately there is no statistics for view but for download or for category - so this needs to be customized

OK. So what is the likely cost of customization, give me the cost for both of them separately.

Hi, you need to specify which way it should work?

1) category view - if user goes to category view, the hit for "view of category" should be done
2) when user downloads the file, the downloads is set for downloading a file (this feature exits)
3) but in which case to store hit for file view? - do you use file view? (because as default file view is not used and users can download directly from category view)

Thank you so much for your response. If I could get a category hit view (that works independently of each other. That is the hit view for main category will be different from that of each subcategory) I can work around the other ones. That is my number 1 priority. So send a quotation for this.

Hi, in Joomla! even in Phoca Download, the category is always a category - even it is parent category or category - so if the category is viewed (somebody click on parent category, or subcategory) the view can be counted - there is no difference.

So if you see parent category where list of subcategories is displayed, the hit is valid only for parent category.
