Issues Uploading Photos

When I click on 'choose file' to upload a photo, a pop up screen comes up but it is completely blank. How can I fix this?

I'm not a programmer/developer...I'm a creative trying to load photos onto our website.
I go to phocagallery, images, file - new, select category, click on select filename and only a blank white popup comes up with no content for me to choose.

That's a pity, because for security reasons I do not have any Joomla v2.5 test environment anymore. (Joomla v.2.5.28 is no longer supported since 31.12.2014) So I can not adjust the problem anymore. However, if the problem has occurred in the short term, it may be due to your webhosing provider who has updatet the PHP version (possibly without notifying you), which is then no longer compatible with Joomla! v2.5 and Phoca Gallery 3.2.3 ...
