I installed Phoca Open Graph Plugin


When I share post on facebook from addthis, they are published with the relative image of the article on desktop, while on the mobile station is placed only the title of the article without image.
Is there any option to set?

Hi, which version do you use? System or Content plugin? Can I see the site where this occurs? Normally this plugin creates a tag with the link to image and there should not be a difference between PC or tablet or mobile view

I tried to insert the image from the plugin and it works correctly both in mobile versio and desktop.
The problem that remains is the difficulty in having to change image for each article, having to open the plugin every time.
How to solve.
If there are more images in an article, how do I select the image to share with the post?

Hi, the plugin tries to find the image in article if not other options set. It displays the first image it finds in the article, see the flow of displaying images:

yes, you can, didn't you read the documentation, if you want to set own image, just set it in plugin options or in article options.

In case, the image should be searched in article (which is demanding for calculations) the first which is found is selected. If you need other behaviour, the regex function needs to be changed.

which plugin do you need to use?

See documentation for the plugins and for Joomla! itself to see the difference between content and system plugins.

Content plugin is active in case of com_content component (in article views), the system is active everywhere (so if content and system is used together, the system needs to be disabled in options for the articles where the content is active)
