Modified Date - FEATURE REQUEST

I would like this tagged as a feature request. It really would be nice if you added a field in the database and the code in the component to update with a modified date when the file is updated. We send out a newsletter and automate it by looking at database for new files but they want to see when files are updated as well and I suppose when you are in the backend and show that you want the Display Date Type to be file (modification time) it is just picking up from the server when the file was modified there, but it really should record it in the database as well.

Hi, why not use the standard date field for this, every time the file is uploaded, the file item can be changed (the date)
