Problem with Phoca Download and Smart Search component

Hi I'm using Phoca Download and Smart Search component. My files are public and everything works normally when I access files from the site pages, but when I do a search for a file loaded in phoca download, I do not have permission to access the file category. This happens when in Phoca Download Search Plugin is "link = file view", if "link view = category" the same category is visible to all users.
Does anyone know if there is a solution?

I set Phoca Download Finder Plugin (Files) to direct download of the file. The behavior is always the same, it does not work. The error seems to be due to faulty construction of the path of the file in the Search Results screen. In fact in the path name, the document filename is taken erroneously as a phoca download category.
I see a breadcrumb like this: Home> CategoryA> CategoryA> FileName.
CategoryA is the category of the file and it is repeated twice (error)
Filename is the file searched but it is also seen as a category because in the page it is displayed as a link to go up to one level, to the parent category.
I hope I was clear. Help!

Hi, normaly, the search detects the menu link of Phoca Download and then based on this search it creates a link to the file. Then it depends on component's rights if it will be accessible or not.

Can you paste here the link from search result and link from standard menu link?
Which version of component and which version of module do you run?

I am having a similar issue. Smart Search is only indexing 4 of my phoca documents available on my site. It does however index all the categories. Hi, when the smart indexing works in Joomla! administration, try to see javascript console if there is no javascript error ( https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-jooml ... -conflicts )

Try to see if javascript console, or javascript network (in e.g. Firefox or Chrome Developer Tools does not return error message.

No Javascript errors and all XHR commands succeeded. It's strange because some of the documents are picked up in the search index.

Hmmm, really hard to say, I don't know any limit which should be applied there - are all the files which are not indexed, published, authorized - is the category where they belong to, published?
