Feature Request - Editing a file and not moving to the top

Hi!

When editing a text file, or css file and clicking Save, the cursor goes to the top of the file, and i have to always scroll down to the line i was editing.

Is it possible to stay on the line i'm editing?

Hi, for editing the file, the Joomla! editor is used. For now I didn't find any way how to go back to the row which was edited. It seems like not possible, because when saving, the site is newly reloaded and the system does not have any information where the edit row was as last

BTW - CTRL+S shortcut can be used for saving the file.

Oooh, that (CtrlS) is really good and very useful.
I actually made a plugin for TinyMCE/JCE editors for Ctrl+S and CMD+S (it also adds an optional timed autosave), but didn't bother with the Joomla built in editor. You can find it by searching for Autosave in the Joomla extensions directory. (I won't post a link here as this is Jan's excellent extensions site, not mine). It's a bugfix and enhancement of the 2015 autosave by Chupurnov Valeriy (XDsoft) which is a bit broken and no longer maintained.
