I have a site that uses a mix of Single Article and Category Blog menu items. I added the plugin, and, while it picks up the category name, it doesn't find any image. It doesn't pick up an image from any of the category articles, nor if I specify an image in the category description or parameters.
How do I make it find the right image?

https://norcalpulse.com/redding/the-arts/art-galleries
I added an image as shown in the attachment. It is larger than 200 x 200 so it should show in FB. However, using the FB Debugger, shows no page/category image or text (other than the generic site-wide image and text).
Am I just not understandign how Phoca works?

Hi, the image is not displayed inside the html code, so it is not set.
What exactly is "Art Galleries" - is this a menu link or article? If menu link which type?

Hmmm, when you try to test installing the system plugin (system plugin works on all pages, not only on content pages):
https://www.phoca.cz/phoca-open-graph-system-plugin
(and disable for test the content plugin)
Do you get then other output?

Re: og:image for Category Blog
FYI, the pages I am testing on is this - https://norcalpulse.com/redding/the-arts & https://norcalpulse.com/redding/the-arts/art-galleries.
OK that works better. Also realized I had meta data encoded in the template which was screwing things up - now removed.
Now FB is picking up the Title Tag text and displaying it. However, it's not associating any image. Even if I specify an image in the Options tab of the category that is not found. If I add an image to the category description FB finds and displays that, but, then, that also displays in the frontend which I don't want.
I am using PageBuilderCK https://www.joomlack.fr/en/joomla-exten ... builder-ck to build the first test page (which is just a PageBuilderCK article in the category description area using a shortcode along the the lines of {loadposition xx}. The actaul article pages are standard Joomla articles (in a Category Blog) but they are initially created with Form2Content Lite https://www.form2content.com/. Not sure if these are causing issues. I doubt the F2C articles will be as it just builds standard Joomla articles.

Hi, yes, if the pagebuilder or another extension use some kind of system plugin to influence the output, it can even invfluence the meta tags
On both sites, I don't see any meta tags regarding open graph - so if both plugins are used (content and system) and there is no limit set, then it is possible that the pagebuilder or the other component it somehow influences, but really hard to say as I don't know both of them
