Category listbox missing in upload

Hello,

Since Phoca download version 3.1.5 and higher, I'm missing the Category selection box in the Front End Upload, which makes this version not usable for me.
Via this box, the user needs to select the category where the upload will come.
Below, an URL with the picture of the working category slection in v3.1.4, indicated in red.

Do you get the problem in all templates (use some default for testing e.g. protostar)? Does your template override Phoca Download output?

Hi Jan,

I've tested now with a protostar based template from the internet with identical results.

Here the version with v3.1.5

You will see that the category box is missing in v3.1.5 and higher (Upload), and present in v3.1.4

In the example, I have used this public template:

As an additional check, I've switched back the localisation files from Dutch to English. The result is the same.

Are you sure that both templates (protostar/your template) do not include the override of Phoca Download Output? (just see the foder structure of template: templates/protostar/html/ ... (there will be folder com_phocadownload in case of override).

When you see Javascript console on the upload page, is there some Javascript error?

Yes. No overrides in both templates (no com_phocadownload folder)

Hi, thank you for the log:

1) try to switch from bootstrap layout to standard ... does it work?

2) try to switch back from standard to bootstrap, download this file: https://www.phoca.cz/forumfiles/default ... tstrap.zip , unzip and copy it to folder:

components\com_phocadownload\views\user\tmpl\ so file: default_files_bootstrap.php will be overwritten

and let me if this works?

I've used the original Bootstrap template of Joomla (in Fluid and in static, but I still think Bootstrap is on...). here you see the both results
