XML/CSV Import - Set Fields

Post by loyopoxel »

Goodmorning everyone,
we are testing the import function from CSV / XML files.

We need to import the products in phoca cart from a file (CSV or XML) exported from our current management software used in the store.

How is it possible in phoca cart to set the correspondence of the fields in the XML or CSV file with the phoca cart fields?

eg:
name filed (in phoca cart) = product_name (in XML file)
category filed (in phoca cart) = category_name (in XML file)
price filed (in phoca cart) = product_price1 (in XML file)

thanks in advance for assistance

Hi, the best way is to create one category and one product in Phoca cart and export it so you will see the XML or CSV structure including the field names. For now the XML/CSV only works for products.

Good evening,
I had imagined it, but I'll explain my situation better.

I would like to use the import via CSV / XML to synchronize the list of products on a daily basis (automatically adding new ones and automatically deleting obsolete ones) and update the available quantities using the CSV / XML export from my management software.

I can not manually override the CSV / XML every day.

I wondered if it was possible to set directly in the import settings of "phoca cart" the correspondences of the fields between CSV / XML and "phoca cart".

"set directly in the import settings of "phoca cart" the correspondences of the fields between CSV / XML and "phoca cart" ... not sure if I understand correctly what do you exactly mean?

Good morning,
I wondered if it is possible, when importing, to set the correspondences between the fields of the CSV / XML file and the fields used in phoca cart.

An example is this:
wpallimport.com/woocommerce-product-import

The purpose of the import is to keep my management software and the phoca cart catalog synchronized daily, without having to overeride the CSV / XML every day.

Thank you for the assistance you are giving to me.
I believe it is an important function that can be exploited by different users.

Hi, for now, there is no such plugin for Phoca Cart but as I understand it good, it just help you to rename xml/css itms to e-commerce used name.

E.g. you use productname and the eshop producttitle in the xml import so such is then renamed.

So for now there is no such plugin yet. :-(

Hi, unfortunately I don't have any experiences with such feature and no idea if this can be made some general way or it needs to be build some come specific solution (to know exactly the features of the management software). I would say, such feature needs to be build specific for current managment software
