Add multilingual support to Open Graph plugins

Post by sulpher »

Hi Jan,

I thought it could be useful to add additional tabs with language settings to both Open Graph plugins to allow a user to point different Twitter accounts according to the language selected in the front-end.

It might be useful in the case of an international business where each language section comes with own social accounts.

Hi, hmmm, maybe better way could be using some syntax like Multilanguages CK does:

{langck=de-DE}Deutsche Sprache{/langck}{langck=en-GB}English language{/langck}{langck=ru-RU}Pусский язык{/langck}

Hard to say :idea:

A good idea. If it will work - the syntax does not matter. For example, in NorrCompetition we use tabs as on the screenshot above. It is user-friendly and it works.

Ok, but how are the values stored in database, when there is unlimited count of possible languages?

I doubt there will be more than 5-6 languages. At least, it will be so hard to delegate privileges to support numerous amount of Twitter accounts within one business...
