Trouble with the .ico

Good day.

I followed the steps and it doesn't seem to be working.

1. The component declares success - so no problem is indicated
2. There is no thumbnail directory formed under the directory images\phocafavicon even though the favicon.ico is in the directory and the directory has a permission of 755. Not sure if that needs to happen.
3. The favicon.ico does not appear in the template directory.
4. I manually copied the favicon.ico into the template directory and still no icon appears.

Is this because my site doesn't have it's final URL yet and I'm using a direct server link? See below.

My bad! I was uploading the favicon.ico which I already had instead of an image. I changed the favicon.ico into favicon.jpg and uploaded that. Now it works just great. Thanks!
