How do you create og: descripition of Joomla articles?


I often created articles with save as a copy and when posting the article, I notice that the old og descripition remains.

Hi, Phoca Open Graph does not store any parameters.

It just uses the parameters stored in your articles or menu links or global configuration of Joomla! (depends on which parameters you want to load in the open graph).

On your site, I see the rendering of parameters right:



If you have some problems with the values of the parameters (e.g. they are not the one you want to display), you need to see the values stored in your article.

So if e.g. the description is set by meta description of the article then you need to see the article parameters.

there are 6 meta tags produced by Phoca Open Graph plugin:

og:title - set by article title
og:type - set by Phoca Open Graph options
og:image - set by article image or (see: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/70-phoca ... open-graph )
og:url - set by the url where the article is displayed
og:site_name - set by your Joomla! Global Configuration
og:description - set by article description or (see: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/70-phoca ... open-graph)

Which of these 6 tags make the problems when sharing for you?
