Hi
I've a Problem with sendig E-Mail over Phoca Mail to a Joomla Group with BCC. The Group has over 500 Members and it's not possible to send a E-Mail to all. The Error Message is:
Error while sendingemail. Email server didn't return any error message. Email From: xx@yy.ch, Email To: xx@yy.ch. Email was not sent
For sending Emails we us an SMTP Relay Server. Sending some E-Mails to Groups with less than 500 Members works fine.
Is there any Limitation in Phoca Mail for sending Mails to BCC Group Members?
Regards
Pascal

Hi, no, there is no limitation in Phoca Email, emails are sent step by step (so all users get own variables like name, etc.) by Joomla! email method - which just use the service set in Global Configuration. So, hmm, hard to say what can be wrong there when there is no error message

Hi
Strange... I think you mean with "the service set in Global Configuration" the default E-Mail settings at the Joomla Server Configuration View?
We try it again on the next Mailsession and maybe it helps when we increase the Log File state...

Can you describe the Log File state more detailed?

Hi
Not realy :-) We will increase the Log File state next Time an hope to find out a little bit more what the problem is. We also inform our Webhoster before we send the E-Mails.
