Is it possible to show a file description when using "file view" code?

I was hoping to display a file description when I list files using this method:

{phocadownload view=filelist|id=24|limit=20}

Would it be possible to add the description to that file view?

No, this is not possible, but since you are using the plugin within an article, you can copy & paste the description above or below the file in the article.
