Checkout Not Showing

Hello

I really enjoyed watching a video tutorial on youtube about phoca cart and I decided to install it on my Joomla 3.9.14 website.
Everything was fine, I installed phoca cart and went through the setup wizard including all modules.

I made some catagories etc and then went to the shop page, I could see the items I wanted in the shop
but after adding them to the cart I could not go to the checkout.

I noticed on your demo shop, a pop-up window appears asking if you want to continue shopping or proceed
to checkout.

Is there a setting I have missed or a template issue? I have switched between the phoca cart template and
protostar without any change.

Would appreciate any ideas you might have to solve this issue.
