Hi community,
I'm facing the problem, that I can only upload files with the "user upload" component of phoca download if the logged in user has super user rights. In Joomla backend the user authorization works well but with the "user upload" component on website frontend I dont get it work.
I'm using phoca download 3.1.9 on Joomla 3.9.10.
The phoca category for the files has set access rights/upload rights/delete rights for "all registered users".
The "enable user Upload" option in Joomal configuration is also set to Yes.
Therefore I have no idea why only user with super user rights are able to upload files at frontend view.
The error message is "File not uploaded You are not authorized to upload file". I can select the category in the user upload component, the error message occurs when I press "Start Upload".
I don't want to grant all users super user rights, therefore I would be happy if you can assist me.
Thanks in advance
sluggard

Re: User upload only with super user rights
Hi Christine,
thanks for your response. The upload function works fine with super user rights. So I think the general setup should be fine.
I know these support sites already, unfortunately it does not solve the problem.

Re: User upload only with super user rights
Hallo Jan,

Re: User upload only with super user rights
