can't install languages

I have used "upload and install" for Guestbook and Restaurant Menu and it's okay but when I try that with the danish language packs I got a warning "Can't find the XML setup file" and a message "Can't find the installationpackages".
Then I unzipped the languagesfiles and transfered them to the danish map in Language via ftp, but it will not work.
What to do???

Hi,
unfortunately there is only a Danish language pack for Phoca Guestbook available and this is not very up to date. Since this package does not contain an installation file, you have to unzip it first and then you need to copy & paste the two contained files into your language folders:
/language/da-DK/
and
/administrator/language/da-DK/

- or only something is not translated? (this can mean that the translation is not complete)

as I mentioned above, there is no Danish translation for Phoca Restaurant Menu available.
Which Joomla! version do you use?
Which Phoca Guestbook version do you use?
Did you set Danish as your Joomla! default language for Front- and Backend?

My joomla is 3.9.16
Phoca guestbook is 3.0.11
Danish is the default language in frontend, but not in backend (don't know how/where to do) but I can chose danish when I log in.

I have now danish as default in backend too but it didn't changed the problems about the guestbook.
