How to add product attributes in POS screens

Hi,

My first Phoca POS client is testing their store and very happy with it, but I have noticed the following:

If I have a parent item with attributes, for example, a piece of clothing with sizes as attributes, I cannot add the attribute to the checkout in the POS screen.

So if I click on POS product with size attributes, I expect to see some option of which size attribute to add, but instead, just see this

Following error: "Product not added to cart. Selecting of attribute option is required."


After searching the forums using keywords it seems that others do not seem to have this problem so perhaps it is how I have set up the admin?

Is it possible to add product attributes in the POS sale screen?

EDIT: just to confirm, all product attributes that we are testing on POS are setup correctly and work as expected on website frontend. They all show as website drop down variants that correctly handle attributes stock figures. It is just POS screens where we cannot select a product attribute.

Hi, there is no link in POS to detail of the product but you can display the attributes directly in items view:

Just set the Hide Product Attributes in POS options:
