Product Options

Hello. I am pleased with the ease of use of Phoca Cart.
I think that the documentation does not include the latest features, since I am trying to find some clarity but cannot.

I have product options that affect price and weight of the order. For this I've found that I use product Attributes (on each product). Here are my questions:

1. Can I create universal product options that I can apply any time, or do I need to do it on a product-by-product basis? (many products have the same options)

2. What are Specifications and Parameters (in the menu) for? I don't understand how to use them, and I cannot find them in the documentation.

Ok, I learned about copying the attributes.

I still want to know the difference between attributes - specifications and parameters.

Hi,

attributes - can change the price, stock, etc. (like t-shirt with different color or size)
specifications - cannot change the price - are important when comparing products - like engine parameters
parameters - simplified version of the specifications (no groups, so not so good when comparing but good when filtering, see version, extensions, frameworks here: https://www.phoca.cz/jtd/ )
tags and labels - standard tag feature with option to display tags and tags (labels) on different positions

So some differences are because of displaying, some because of searching and filtering, some because of comparing, etc.
