Hi
I just want it very simple without categories etc. in articles
If you see http://www.lapataleta.net/index.php/galleri but with slightly smaller images and the opportunity to click on the image and view it in full size.
I have PhocaGallery_v4.3.18 Do I need a plugin or....?
Kind regards Mia

Re: images in a simple way in articles
Hi Mia,
One approach is to create e.g. two categories in the Phoca Gallery component and assign the images accordingly.
For more detail please refer to:

to be honest, I can't see where the PhocaGallery is being used. My impression is that the images in the gallery are arranged by an article.I have PhocaGallery_v4.3.18

Thank you.
I did not write that I used PhocaGallery in the example I showed.
I just wanted to show how I wanted it to look, but with the difference to make it possible with slightly smaller images that could then be viewed in full size by clicking on them.
I want the pictures set up in the same way and with the "headlines" that are now.

Ok,
then you can use a few images to test which settings suit you the most.
It is also important to use the latest Joomla version.

When I use PhocaGallery with the option of thumbnails, it can only be done if I add it as a menu item and then it is only possible to select one category.
Can't it be possible to show multiple categories on the same "page" at all?
I have the latest Joomla

Anyway, if you want to show categories or single images insite an article, you need to install and enable Phoca Gallery Plugin and to create valid content plugin code, you should install and enable Phoca Gallery Button Plugin. Can't it be possible to show multiple categories on the same "page" at all?

Re: images in a simple way in articles
I understand your confusion.
The pictures are currently in two categories (see http://www.lapataleta.net/index.php/galleri) and more will be added later, but since there are not many pictures in each category, I want all pictures to be displayed on one page.
I have read a lot in the documentation but it is hard when English is not my language so I am stuck with it and so in my first post I asked if I should use a plugin.
I will take a look at the link you gave me.
Kind regards Mia

Re: images in a simple way in articles
Hi, see similar posts in this forum, there is no such option. When pictures are stored in different categories, they are not displayed on one page at once. Each category has own view (in short this prevent from overloading the server, opacity, confusion, etc.)
So if there are not so much images and you want to display all of them on one place, you can try to use plugin - Phoca Gallery plugin in article.

Hi
The plugin was just what I needed
When I read about it earlier I was confused that it was referring to Joomla 1.5 so I thought it could only be used in very early versions.
Now it looks just the right way.
Thank you for your good response and patience.
Kind regards Mia
