upload file question

Post by pierrotsc »

when a user upload a file, he has the option to delete it. as an admin, it looks like i cannot see what was uploaded by other users and delete the files. the reason is i want to move the file to another area and delete the one in the upload folder. if i use ftp to move it, it still shows as a posted file although the file is gone.
how can i delete files posted by users as an admin?
thanks

Hi, just go to administration and there you can see the files and you can manage them.

You can even set if file which will be removed from system, will be even removed from server.

Well, i delete it but it still shows under the download area. How is that possible ? i have a folder called uploads that can only be seen if you are registered. when i click on download in the frontend, the uploads folder is there with the file i just deleted in the back end.
What am i doing wrong ?

well, i think i got it. i had to go delete under files and not upload it looks like. or do i have to go two places

Hi, you should delete it only in files. Downloads view is only a statistics view where you can see the count of downloads.
