I wanna sell Giftcards where the customer can set the amount, some text, and pay online.

Before I try myself....was this done before? anyone a good idea how to do?

ok, I think I just do this with predefined amounts as attributes. So this is solved.
But as you're reading this...is a voucher system high on feature list? something like amazon gift cards...

Hi, is there a way a coupon can meet your needs?

You can limit the usage for each customer, you can set which customer group can use it. So if you send the coupon code to the customer, it works the same way like voucher.


Coupons can be used by different users, so this can be limited e.g. by customer group or modification to limit per user can be done

Hi, the problem of guest users is common problem. You cannot use there some limits (like limits per users, etc.). So if coupon exists it can be used by guests without limitation.
