Is it possible to categorize tags?

Hi there. I need to set in my filter module some tags that would be categorized or grouped, because now there is a huge list which is not very user friendly. It doesn't seem to exist such an option, but maybe there is a workaround or an alternative? Maybe with different instances of the module?

e.g. Group white, yellow and rose gold under gold,

Hi, you can use e.g. Parameters and their values for this.

Extensions, Frameworks, Version are Parameters and they have specific parameter values. So you can create parameters as groups.
