Hello.
For a shop, we use attributes with picture options. And there are some aspects that I don’t quite understand:
- what are the 3 image fields, while only the "image (small)" field is taken into account for the options
- what is the purpose of creating thumbnails if they are not used? I thought (maybe wrongly) that choosing the image for the option would automatically use the thumbnail "s" created automatically in thumbs folder...
Also, in the image selection window, Phoca Cart does not display the thumbs sub-folder (but I can add the path manually and my images are then correct)
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards.
What are thumbnails created for attributes for?

Re: What are thumbnails created for attributes for?
Hi,
it depends on options, for example small image is used as parameter to switch between attributes, medium or standard image is used when switching main image, see:
When you select an image for some part of the system (product, attribute, ...), you just select the original image which is stored in parameters and then based on place, the right thumbnail is selected (in case of attribute - this can be parameters switch or the image itself, etc.)
So, when selecting image, you always should select original image and the system will use different thumbnails for different specific needs.
