I am setting up PhocaCart locally (WAMP) and planning to move it to a live server.
I'm trying to add downloadable products but when trying to upload the images I get a Javascript error saying that the file is too large. (it is 30mb). I already adjusted the setting in the PHP.ini file.
In the Joomla Media Manger I have tried to set the max size to 30 MB but when I try to save the configuration I get two system errors:
Invalid field: path to file folders
Invalid field: path to images folder
So I can't get it to set to more than 10 MB.
I'm aware that this is a Joomla problem and this may not may not be place to look for an answer but after 2 hours of searching I have not found a solution anywhere.
Maybe someone here can point me in the right direction.
Before I installed PhocaCart I tried HikaShop and I did not have the problem then.
But I like to stick with PhocaCart, I like it a lot. It looks great and it is easy to use.
Thanks for your time.
Reno

Re: PhocaCart file up load size
Hi, first of all, where exactly do you upload the files? Did you try to upload them per FTP (mostly such large files it is better to upload per FTP)
But as written above, it depends on the place where you upload them (some features have limit options for this, some not)

Re: PhocaCart file up load size
Jan, I try to upload them in PhocaCart/Products/New Product/Download Options
I have looked at uploading them manually but I can't find the correct folder.
Please keep in mind that I have the site on my local Wamp server and that PHP.ini has been adjusted
I found out that in Joomla I cannot adjust the Max File Size in Media manager. Trying to do so gives me two errors: Invalid
field: path to file folders
Invalid field: path to images folder
And next it reverts back to 10 MB.
I posted this problem on the Joomla support forum but no solution has been offered.

Re: PhocaCart file up load size
I have a problem with Joomla where I cannot increase the max upload size (from 10 to 30 MB) in Media Manager.
There are error messages and it reverts back to the initial 10 MB.
It happens with both, my already developed site on Wamp, and a new site with a fresh install of Joomla on my desktop computer.
I also installed Xampp on my laptop, made a fresh Joomla install and the same problem occurs.
I posted it on the Joomla forum and so far suggestions have not led to a solution.
Maybe once it is on a live server the problem will go away.
If not, I will use FTP to upload the images to PhocaCart.
It is not a big deal, but I wonder why I seem to be the only one to have this problem. In the past I had Joomla with Xampp on different computers and never had this problem.

Re: PhocaCart file up load size
I just installed an older Joomla version (3.9.12), no problem there.
And after I upgraded to 3.9.21 the problem is back.
Someone I have talked to experienced the same thing.

I will try to test it, so does this happen also in Joomla! media manager?

Re: PhocaCart file up load size
Jan, in the newest version you cannot save the setting in the Media Manager.
Trying to increase the the 10 MB max upload size results in an error.
This only happens on a local server like Wamp or Xampp, on a live server it seems to be fine.
I will make my site live this weekend and see what happens.
It has been added to the Joomla bug tracker.
