how to link a single file for download [solved]

Hello happy downloaders!

I'lm a bit puzzled from my lack of experience : I have gathered a collection of pdf files in the phocadownload directory, and I wonder if it is possible to link a single file for downloading (hyperlink from a given article), to avoid people browsing through the complete document tree.

If I use the *correct* absolute file path (such as <my site>/phocadownload/my_file.pdf it works

Sorry for this stupid questions, it was just a mistake from my side, i should have rtfm first.
