captcha on download

Hello

I have a website where files are publicly downloadable. Some robot recently started downloading the files over and over again, 100 times a day for each file

I understand i can ban the ip and check with the host what can be done server wise but is there also a way to add a captcha to the download ?

Hi, for now there is no such option, only to download the files after login with standard login function.

We ll manage with login for now. Is it in your certainly too loog todo list ? ^^ . It starts being available on some other extensions, it would be nice to have it
