Automatic e-mail after new order

Is it possible to get an automatically generated mail if a new order was placed in the shop?

I've only a small shop and only some orders a month. But I've to check daily if I recieved a new order.

Thank you, that works now.

But I don't get managed to automatically attach the order or send the download-link for the order with this automatically generated mail
Or do I misunderstand this function?

Hi, it depends on order status.

If the order is done, the "pending" status will be set and you can set then when pending status is set that the email including order document will be sent to customer or to others (vendors, administrators, etc.)

You can set in order status which documents will be automatically send to customer or others.

So everything runs automatically - after order - the email including documents will be sent to customer or others (when all this enabled in order status)

Hello Jan, thats what I expected. But the mails are sent, but only with text. No attached document.
Are there any other settings to be checked that the docuement can be generated and attached automatically?

OK, but just to clearify that it's not a misunderstanding of me: Will a PDF be automatically created and attached (that's what I expected) or will the document info directly copied into the email (this is what happens actually).

Phoco PDF was not installed up to now.

Hi, if you want that PDF documents will be sent then Phoca PDF needs to be installed:

OK, now I get my attached PDF :-)

Final question - what do I have to configure, that the document text is NOT copied to the mail itself, but only the PDF is attached.

Hi, there is no such option, if e.g. invoice should be sent, it is displayed as html even it is included in attachment like the PDF document. So the only way is to customize it directly in the code.
