own form field is not saved in the order

I have created my own form field:

But when I place an order, the field is not saved:

Does anyone have an idea what this can be?

System infos:

• Version 3.5.5Beta

• Joomla!-Version 3.9.23

• OS SunOS l

• PHP 7.4.13

• MySQLi 5.6.42-log

It doesn't always work, in 2 out of 3 cases it doesn't work, I have experimented a lot with new fields, but no consistent result with the selection box.

What can I do to investigate this further?

When I enter it in the store and press save, it is always displayed correctly and saved. I can edit it then also afterwards


But the way into the order does not seem to work cleanly, maybe it is a display problem in the Backaend?

I think this has something to do with the backend, I can not change the field in the order, it is always the 1st entry saved or displayed.

Hi, can you paste a screenshot? Really hard to say, testing now, different conditions and all works OK
