QR code on invoice

Hello,
i want to use the QR code option on the invoice so that customers can easely pay the invoice with QR Code scanning.
current QR Code fields i use

SCT
{bicswift}
{bankaccountnumber}
{iban}
{currencycode}{totaltopaynoformat}
GDDS
RF{invoicenumber}

this is based on the standard QR code requirements for QR code invoicing.. but what ever i do, my mobile phone is unable to read the QR code as a payment..

what i am looking for is that customers can scan the QR Code with there mobile phone (with a bank app installed). with scanning the banking app will launch . second option is to open the bank app and scan the QR code.
but my bankapp tells me that the QR code is incorrect.

does anyone know how this works, what information is needed to get this to work..

Hi, can you paste some QR code to test it?

Yes, QR codes are here for this purpose - to scan and pay.

Mostly, the bank set specific format which should be used, like this one:

SPD*1.0*ACC:{iban}*AM:{totaltopaynoformat}*CC:{currencycode}*DT:{invoiceduedate}*MSG:Message*X-PRN:{paymentreferencenumber}

which will produce:


Is your mobile phone able to read it as text? If yes, did you check the content of this QR and did you check if all parameters are set correctly - like date format, amount format, etc.

hello.. QR code is reading okay.. not my bankapp.. but is just find out that not all banks in the netherlands are supporting this.
in my case (rabobank) is supporting only iDeal QR code's ..
banks in the netherlands are working to get this standard supported.. but not expecting this soon...

my own QR code is read as tekst..but the main issue is the rabobank mobile app..
so.. i would like to know if the QR code layout based on the standard is working for the most people..

accourding to the international standard the QR code schould at least have this..

Hi, I think, the only way is to ask some developer of the bank, what can be wrong there.

Unfortunately I cannot read this QR even as a text (maybe some small resolution)

That can be, but rhe problem in the Netherlands is that every bank keeps there own standard.. so as long not the most bank fully comply with this and keep the international standard this problem can not be solved..

Work around if the payment service provider offers a link to pay, to offer the QR code with a link to the payment page ...

For this to work i need a payment gateway that support mollie.com ..

So i hope David (member this forum) can arrange the integration of payage payment gateway.. that will solve several issues for mee and will boost the use of phoca cart in the netherlands and other countries ..

If someone can integrate that gateway....

Idea is to have a qr code to easy pay the invoice.

That requires a general gateway.. so for example payage payment gateway...

You want to say that every bank in Netherland has it's own qr code system for paying?
The National Bank of Serbia has prescribed how to generate a QR code. Based on this, every bank that wants to offer payment via QR code must strictly adhere to these rules. Also everyone who wants to implement this way of payment to their invoices must follow same rules.
Phoca Cart and it's short codes works flawlessly with this.
