Icons have light grey square shape around

Hi

this is more kind of a question. All icons having a light grey square shape in the background. Im sure this was not
in the past. Sadly when I zoom out of the map they become lots bigger - very ugly
Occurs in any web browser, tried firefox, chrome, ie, ms edge, safari

Anybody here with similar problem or any suggest how to solve it?

using Joomla 3.9.24
Phocca maps v3.0.11
Plugin v3.0.10

Just an idea, as we could not see it live:

Try with following code (custom.css):

.awesome-marker-shadow {
background: none;
}

Thanks for your response i'm sorry for to be such a noob because I have no idea where custom.css is located and I haven't found it
on the server. Do you have a hint for me? To see the issue in live please have a look here

finally found it and added custom.css with suggested code to my active template. But sadly nothing changed, looks like before.
Hope i've done it the right way.

Hi Tom

This case shows how important it is to examine a live URL. It would not have been possible to find the reason for the previous layout.
