different pricing for different users

Post by sirkai »

Hi
I am new to Cart and I am more than happy with it so far.
I have two questions now.
1) For all my articles I always need two prices based on the buying user.
For example normal user pays fixed price and a VIP user pays a different price (usually less)
So two different prices for all articles.
How can that be managed ?

2) Additionally I want to sell some items with logo, some without. Whats the best option to offer that logo as an option ?
With logo it will always add some amount to the price. Currently I have that as a separate items (with and without)

Thank you!
Kai

Hi,

1) in Phoca Cart you can create different customer groups and you can assign one default price and then specific price for each customer group.

- just create a customer group
- then in edit of product click on customer group price link (a right position) to edit the prices for different groups

2) It depends on a lot of factores - how many items there are, etc. Some users set each variant as new product, some use the attribute. So you can set the product without logo as default product and the logo variant as attribute and add some amount to the price by attribute.
