Shopping/Catalogue selectable for specifiv Categories?

I have setup a catalogue with Phoca Cart and it works fine. Now we are thinking about offering some products from one category for sale.
Is there any option to add the "Buy now" functionality for only one category?
Or can I install 2 Phoca Carts? And use one as catalogue and the other as shop?

Hi, no, don't install second instance. You can set type of product in product edit.

See Publishing Options tab in product edit:



Set for all of your products which are not for sale the type "Price on Demand Product". Such product has not "Add to cart" button and cannot be ordered.

Is there a way to display brutto/netto pricing even for "Price on demand" products?
If I set products to "Price on demand", only the price incl vat is displayed. (Page is https://rader-audio-services.de/)
As I have one category with used gear, where people should be able to buy something (https://rader-audio-services.de/index.p ... chtgeraete) and a catalogue-area without shoping option (https://rader-audio-services.de/index.p ... d-drahtlos) I´ve tried your solution.
But as mentioned above, I have the vat issue. I like to have the Incl- and Excl Vat price displayed at the same time.
So if I change from "On demand" to e.g "Physical Product", the Cart button is displayed. I´ve found another workaround by using "In stock" option. If I set "Stock amount" to 0, in the product detail view no cart button ist displayed (https://rader-audio-services.de/index.p ... s/30-40117) but in the category view it´s there: https://rader-audio-services.de/index.p ... d-drahtlos

Do you have any idea how to solve this?

Hi,

try to download this file:
https://www.phoca.cz/forumfiles/product_price.zip and unzip it to folder:
components/com_phocacart/layouts/ (to Joomla 3 version)

so the product_price.php will be overwritten.

Then it should display VAT even the product is price on demand product.

One more question: Is there a solution to display prices of all products but select only a few to sell?
I have a market overview here: https://www.country-reiten.de/magazin/m ... ck-platten and these products should be shown with a price but should not have a "Buy" button.
And here https://www.country-reiten.de/magazin/c ... en-special if like to offer products as a download that should have a "Buy" button.
Is there a way to do this?
