Discounts or Bulk Price Editor with filtering manufacturer

Hi there,

is there an option to create a discount based on the manufacturer? I tried to use discount, but there you can only select single products or categories.
And the bulk price editor is really a great feature, I love it. But there you can also only choose a category.

Is there any way, how I can change the prices of all products of one manufacturer temporarily without editing each single product?
If not, I would suggest to include the filter for manufacturer even in the discount and bulk price editor options.
