Exclude Category from "Display all"menu link

Post by MAXambient »

I have several categorys and want to show only a selection of them under specific menue links. Eg.: Display all Products excluding the Category "used".
Is there a way to solve this?

Hi, maybe you can paste a direct link to your menu.

E.g. filter the products by filter module (select only specific categories) and then copy the link and paste is as direct link in menu manager.

Hi Jan!

Tried this workaround but when I select all the Categorys I want to have in my overview, I get something like a Product Viev, containig all Products within the selecte Categorys, but what I am looking for is to have a Overview like here:
https://rader-audio-services.de/index.p ... -loesungen

But without the last Category "Gebrauchtgeräte" being displayed.

Do you have any other idea?
Or am I doing something wrong?

Hi, depends on what do you want to hide, if categories or products.

When you want to hide categories in category list, thtere is a parameter for this in menu link:

But this does not say that the products from hidden category will be not displayed. Such products need to be "protected" from displaying by access rights or customer group rules, etc.
