Jan, there are head categories an sub, what i see is that if a subcat has 10 files the cat above will still say 0.

Look at the lnks i gave you, you have everything there to see what i mean.

Hi, now I understand. See similar posts in this forum. There is count of files of current category, not any other category. It does not matter if some category is a parent category or a subcategory. The number is just a number of files of the category. As seen in similar posts, this was selected by community to display the real count of files of category not from other categories.

To display even count of files of sub categories, the code needs to be customized - to add some recursive function to count all files from category tree.

Hi, unfortunately, because of overwriting Joomla 4 extensions, I am now overloaded so I am not able to do because of time issues

Hi, unfortunately, I will be not able to do it for the stable. Stable is in fact ready but still waiting in front to be released and there are many tasks I need to do (in fact adding all new features is now frozen as the priority is to bring the stable versions with current features

)

Unfortunately, the situation with J4 is so, that is is completely different system in comparing to J3 (so many backward compatibility changes) so I have spent this year only with overwriting extensions to Joomla 4 and not adding new features

And this takes some times until it will be possible to add new features again
