Hi,
Joomla 4.1.2, Phoca gallery 4.5, Phoca tree module 4.5.1.
I have upgraded a joomla website from 3.10.8 to 4.1.2.
Phoca gallery from 4.4.3 to 4.5, according your migration procedure.
Phoca gallery works without problem. Phoca tree module 4.5.1 installed.
Problem description
Joomla configuration SEO active.
Main menu - Link "Fotos" /fotos.html (category view, 2021 Dolomiten)
On the right side of "Fotos" page: module phoca gallery tree.
Module tree all links have the same link --> /fotos.html
Joomla configuration SEO inactive
Module tree: All links have their individual link.
i.e. https://www.psctitlis.ch/psc4/index.php ... Itemid=192
You can click between the different galleries and the "Fotos" page shows the
corresponding gallery.
website
https://www.psctitlis.ch/psc4/fotos.html
On Joomla 3.10.8 with SEO active (Phoca gallery 4.4.3, Phoca tree 4.4.0)
the tree links works fine since a long time.
Any hints?
Best regards
Andreas

Hi, did you create a menu link to component? So the module can get info about SEF links from the menu link to component.

Hi, yes I did. Mentioned in the problem description.
Main menu --> Link "Fotos" (/fotos.html)
- menue title: Fotos/alias: fotos
- Menue type: list of pictures (category view)
- Category selection: 2021 Dolomiten
- Link: index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=69
Happy Easter

Re: Tree module with SEO activated, links not working properly
Hi,
I have activated the tree module also on menue link "Links" with standard article.
https://www.psctitlis.ch/psc4/links.html
There the tree links are working.
Test with standard template Cassiopeia same behavior for both pages.
Best regards
Andreas

Hi, try to create only one menu link to the component - to categories view (the default view) - then all links should be formatted by this menu link - which is the highest level (categories view - category view - image detail)

Re: Tree module with SEO activated, links not working properly
1. I have tried your proposal with a shadow menu link "categories view".
This works, but then you have a back botton link (to main categories view) followed by the images.
2. I have tried a different way and have created a shadow menu link "list of pictures (category view)" with category selection: select category (!). This works without back botton link. This is now active: https://www.psctitlis.ch/psc4/fotos.html
With Joomla 3 this was not necessary. Only menu link with "list of pictures (category view)" and category selection i.e. "2021 Dolomiten". With solution 1 and 2, there is a link path differnce in comparison to joomla 3:
Joomla 3
https://www.psctitlis.ch/fotos/category ... nflue.html
Joomla 4
https://www.psctitlis.ch/psc4/foto/67-2 ... nflue.html
If you have an additional hint fine, otherwise I can live with solution 2.

Re: Tree module with SEO activated, links not working properly
Hi, unfortunately, the SEF feature changes in Joomla 4 so there is no other way for Phoca Gallery as follow new rules there
Link to categories view can be disabled (per CSS or per parameters)
