Barcode reader

Hello everyone,
I have two questions:
1) I have seen that it is possible to use a barcode reader with POS. How should everything be set up? Is there a procedure that you can indicate to me?
2) is it possible, in case you can use a barcode reader, also use it to load products or similar?

Hi,

1) the scanner should be set, so it just read the EAN and produces the number which is then stored in form field. This should be standard and default options for scanner. I have tested many scanners and all work normal - reading the EAN and putting its number to form field.

2) for now the barcode can be used e.g. in search field so if the product include EAN then such is searched. Like it is displayed here:
