Hyperlinks in Phoca Maps Marker Description

Recently upgraded my fully functional Joomla 3 site to version 4 and upgraded to Phoca Maps 4.00 and plugin 4.00.
I am finding that hyperlinks generated in the Marker descriptions to locations on my site are not working as expected. If I generate a link in a map marker description to a page on my site, the page URL just gets added on to the end of the current page URL, it does not completely replace it. As a result the hyperlink fails with a 404 page not found error. In my old Joomla 3 site this problem did not occur. Can you offer any advice?

just checkt internal and external marker links. For me it's working as expected with Phoca Maps v4.0.0:
