Product Epub Upload results in error file type not allowed

I am using PhocaCart version 4.0.5. When I create a new virtual product and click on Download options, Download File, Select File. Then click the Upload tab, Browse button and choose an epub file to upload. Then click Start Upload, it ends with the following error: The file type is not allowed - file cannot be uploaded
I can fix this problem by going to Options, Form Tab, Security Options, Allowed MIME Types (Backend Upload), where there are several allowed MIME Types. I added to the end of the list:

{epub=application/epub+zip}

But I am hoping that in future versions of Phoca cart, this Epub MIME type can be included in this default list of allowed MIME types to make it easier for shop owners to upload epub files.
