Paypal sandbox, the error continues

Joomla 4.2.9 / Phoca Cart 4.0.5 / PHP Version 8.0.28

I am verifying other errors, for example, in addition to not changing the status from WAITING STATUS to COMPLETED STATUS, now it does not accept Visa, Mastercard, all those of the PayPal circuit. These are the cards generated by the PayPal sandbox tool. As shown in the image, there seems to be no communication between paypal and the site. Has this ever happened to you? I don't know if it's a paypal error or something is not working in the site's standard paypal component or plugin.

This thing is driving me a little crazy, considering that until a few days ago the tests worked correctly, the order status changed automatically.

I would like to put the site into production, removing the paypal sandbox, putting my paypal business email address for payments, but I have to be honest after all these hitches, it makes me think that it doesn't even work by putting the live payment system.

Basically there are two problems now:
1. No longer accepts cards
2: When the cards worked and I performed the payment simulation, the outcome was a successful payment but the WAITING status did not change to COMPLETED, in fact by checking the orders from the backend the status remains blocked at WAITING. Now this other problem of cards that are not accepted has been added. A disaster
3) When I choose to pay with Paypal, I would like Italy to come out as the state immediately and not America, but only Italy, how can I do it?

I ask for the help of someone who can help me solve these problems. I can give access to the site, the server and even paypal sandboxes in order to solve. Also paid developer to fix these issues.

Hi, if you get problem on PayPal website, then this is much more a question on PayPal developers.

In Phoca Cart you can enable logging (in administration), in logs you will see everything what is sent to PayPal and if there is some problem PayPal can send some error message back - this all should be stored in logs. Mostly if PayPal does not send any response, there is no changing of order status as it is based on the response. So try to enable logging to get more info.

I have enabled logging and everything seems to work. yesterday I tried to make payment from paypal account sandbox with email and password and it worked, even the automatic transition to completed status. but buying with cards as unregistered doesn't work, doesn't accept cards, but at this point I think it's a paypal issue

Hi, yes, I think you should ask PayPal developers as all this happens on PayPal website :idea: (maybe there is some settings in your PayPal account which should be enabled :idea: )
