Phoca download plugin not working in category description

I want to add a link to a category in my category description, but phoca download plugin is not working. I have the latests versions for Joomla 4 for download plugin and editor button. Editor button works, but code is not translated to link. I still see the code:

Tried with other plugins i.e. Tabs and Accordions from Regularlabs and they work like expected.

Hi, which Phoca Download version and which Phoca Download plugins (including their version) do you use?


Generaly, if the plugin is not translated:

- the content plugin is not installed
- or the content plugin is not enabled
- or the code in in place which does not support content plugins

I mean one level up in Categories. As far as I can see you are now in category view.

Hi, this description (description in category box in categories view) does not accept content plugins, so this is why no content plugin is transformed in this part.

Strange, because as I stated before it accepts other content plugins. But thanks for looking into this, I'll make hidden menu-items then to link to.

Hi, not sure if this is the same place like I checked. But if other content plugins work there:

- are the other plugins really content plugins?
- if yes, is the phocadownload content plugin enabled and installed on your system (be aware this is not phoca download button plugin)

Some of them are, some not. Contentplugins Menu, Contact, Article and Media are working. Module and Phoca Download File are not working.
Regular Labs plugins are working, but for some reason they are categorized as system plugins.

For me it is not important, because I solved it with hidden menu-items (only 2 categories), but if this can help you debug something don't hesitate to ask.
