In case, you are allowed to add a message and it says, it was sent, then there should not be problem with rights, but somewhere when saving the item - so this needs to be debugged - when user paste a message, you should see database - table phoca guestbook items and check if the message is there:

- if it is there, then the save works OK
- if not, then save does not work as excepted

When the message is there but not displayed - it needs to be checked - if it has right guestbook category, if it does not work for authorization, if it is published, if the date was OK, etc.
