Phoca Download Ver 4.0.6 caompatibility with Joomal 3.10
Is the 4.0.6 version of Phoca Download backward compatible with Joomla ver 3.10 sites. I am doing a J4 migration.

Hi, just a clarifying question here:
Do I need to uninstall the J3 version of Phoca Download before updating Joomla 3 to 4?
In the linked documentation it says to work with "newly created Joomla! 4" but when upgrading, mostly our sites are not "newly created" and could have Phoca Download: 3.2.3. installed. Would it break a joomla 4 site?

@andraspal,
if you don't do a fresh J4 install, you should:
1.) export the database tables mentioned in the guide (see link above),
2.) then uninstall all Phoca components, modules and plugins,
3.) then migrate from J3 to J4,
4.) then install the J4 versions of the necessary Phoca components, modules and plugins,
5.) then import the exported database tables into your J4 database.
Kind regards,
Benno
